Description:
We all experience emotions everyday. As parents, one of our primary responsbilities is teaching our kids how to manage these emotions so that they can be successful at home, school and in the community. During this three-part workshop, parents will learn how to help kids identify and manage a range of emotions, including anger, sadness, anxiety, frustration and many more. Parents will be equipped with tools to teach strategies for managing these feelings with discussion about implementation in a variety of scenarios and family situations. Participants should plan to attend all three sessions. Materials provided, all classes are free for MVUSD parents and caregivers.
